Longer or Shorter
Overview
We can compare objects to see which one is longer and which one is shorter.
Look at the example below:
There is a red line and a green line. Which one is longer?
We can compare the two lines. The red line is longer than the green line.
Let’s look at another example:
Look carefully and compare the worms.
Which one is longer?
The orange worm is longer than the purple worm!
Let’s take a look at this example.
The blue ruler is a little bit longer than the green one!
Let’s take a look at this next example.
Which one is SHORTER?
The eraser on the bottom is SHORTER.
Try this one!

The watch on the top is SHORTER.
Which one is LONGER?
The pencil on the top is longer.
