Overview

A clock helps us to know what time it is. Clocks use numbers and hands. A clock has a big hand and a little hand. These are called analog clocks.

Another type of clock is a digital clock. With a digital clock, you can simply read the numbers.

Look at the clock below:

The time on the clock read 8 : 30.
Reading a digital clock is simple!

The number before the dots tells the hour.
The numbers after the dots tells the minutes.

 

Let’s take a look at some other clock examples.
