Drawing shapes
Overview
Shapes are fun to draw!
Shapes can help us to solve math problems.
Some are two-dimensional or flat. Others can be held which are three-dimensional!
Examples of two-dimensional shapes that you should know are squares, circles, and triangles.
Examples of three-dimensional shapes are cones, spheres, and cylinders.

Get a piece of paper and draw your favorite shape. Write a sentence on why this is your favorite shape.
Let’s see how to draw a circle!
A circle is round. It does not have any flat sides. It does not have corners.
You draw it like this:

A square has four equal sides and four corners.

Notice that the heart is curved. It’s sides are the same. They are symmetrical.
