“Things Are Fine,” with Roger and Thea

Roger and Thea are very positive, cheerful second-grade monsters. Sure, they look a little scary, but inside, they’re downright cuddly! Sort of like these subtraction problems. They appear prickly with their double-digits, and their fearsome regrouping requirements, and some kids may think they look weird either in vertical or horizontal mode. But things are perfectly fine! Kids will see that sometimes subtraction problems, like little monsters, can be different, and a lot less frightening, once you get to know them better.
