Debating Dotplots

Students might debate the scores on this data list, but 6th graders will love the chance to create their own dotplots to go with the data in this worksheet. Students will create their dotplot and then interpret the results to determine the mean, range, and if there are any outliers in the data. They will have hands-on experience with creating their own dotplot and interpreting the results. Everyone will agree that is a great way to practice using data and dotplots!
