Equation Invasion

This is an adventurous subtraction practice sheet! There are six sets of four-digit subtraction equations. Each equation has a minuend and a subtrahend. Rather than a difference, the equal sign gives way to the second subtraction problem. In order to fill in the missing number, kids have to solve the opposite equation first! It’s a fun puzzle! Although fourth-graders may need a little help understanding how to get to the answer, they’ll enjoy the journey and the destination!
