Roger Rhino’s favorite operation is addition. He loves it so much, he repeats it over and over! Little does Roger Rhino know, by repeating addition he is also doing multiplication! Students will help Roger Rhino understand repeated addition as multiplication by examining the different groups of shapes. For each group of shapes, they will write a repeated addition equation along with a multiplication equation.
