Overview
Adding doubles is a lot of fun!
In this lesson, we are going to master the skill of adding doubles. All this means is that we will be adding the same number to itself.
When you add two of the SAME number, you are adding with DOUBLES FACTS.
1 + 1 and 2 + 2 are both doubles facts.
Look at the example below:
4 + 4 = 8 is a doubles fact. Knowing your doubles facts can help you to remember other addition problems.
